The only LED's on my bike is a Tri-Bar tail/brake unit, but the light in question was coming on before I installed it..

I'm on my second master cylinder, we bled the brakes regularly but eventually that annoying red light would come back so we replaced the MC.

Next time it comes on - push the front brake lever forward with your fingers and see if it goes out.

The brake light switch in the front MC can also stick..same with the rear...
These replies are a great help. Gives me somewhere to start to diagnose the issues.. Thanks very much for your time and input.

usually happens when your brake light switch is sticking. Check your front brake switch behind the front brake lever. Clean with some sort of chemical then test ride.
