For my build I want to go with a shorter 2 into 1 pipe than my current Thunderheader. I have read a lot of posts that state I will be getting better performance with the Fab 28. My main concern is sound. I know the Fab 28 will sound different. Not sure I will like the sound better than the TH, as sound clips are not a good representation and I dont have anyone in Alabama to listen to. For sure what I dont want is for it to be any less volume than the TH. Any feedback would be appreciated.
I feel there would be better options from more mainstream companies, and at a better price point that you could hear locally. Are you dead set on Fab 28?

Not dead set but like the look and performance reviews. I am going to a shorter pipe for what I am trying to accomplish for my build.

depends if you wanna sacrifice sound for performance. Not that fab28 doesnt sound good its just not a theader. Id look into a sawicki pipe I know theyre loud nasty
Shorter pipe, more HP, less on the torque. I am a TH guy too and have had a few friends modify the TH so it's shorter, Changes the sound a little but still has the TH snap. I think you'll miss the sound. At least I always did.
