Bought a Street Bob!

Bought a Street Bob!
I cant believe I've bought a second Harley, 2017 Street Bob. I'm hoping I can take a few of the parts from my 2003 and put on her but using the fitment pages on Dennis Kirk seems only the Bassani stainless will fit either bike. I cant believe the rear shocks aren't compatible and I'll just try to swap them this weekend to see what happens. Additionally I'm not thrilled about the solo front brake, I may look in to swapping the front ends to get dual brakes on the Bob. Oh so many things to buy now, the mid controls are not comfortable for me one bit.

Congratulations!
Rather than upgrading my 2003 Dyna, I bought a new 2019 Low Rider, which oddly feels more like a Sportster than my old Dyna.
Before anybody gets jealous of us... Can you check your front fender? Just grab it with both hands from the sides with your fingers underneath and thumbs on the outside and flex it.
Then do the same on your Dyna and report back.

So long story coming. I contacted HD online then started texting the internet sales person. I told him I was looking for a gently used low mileage Dyna. Before you know he's pushing me on the 2019 Street Bob and I go down there and buy it. Like a total idiot- no test ride. I got about 5 miles away from the dealership when I pulled over and called them and said "this bike aint for me". Not only was it too small (and I'm only 5'10" - 5'11") for me but it felt like a cheap POS despite that 107ci engine.
I went back to the dealer and got this gently used low mileage Dyna LOL.
Got forward controls on it last night, not done, need to find a way to properly secure the mid control lever that passes through the primary and cap off the knurled end. On my 2003 there is a "Z" shaped bracket that holds the lever in position to an engine bolt. Anyway the ride is 1,000 times more for comfortable for me now. I'm wondering if the Street Bob family is just smaller than the other Dynas?
Next is a seat, that factory thing is awful. Then saddlebags. And maybe I'll swap out Bassani and T bars this weekend.
