Picked up an 07 bob

Hi all I just wanted to introduce myself. I just picked up an 07 Denim Black Street Bob after having my Sporty 1200c for just under a year. I've had the bike for a week now. I liked my Sporty but I love the new Bob. I don't really have any plans for it as of yet with the exception of forward controls being put on next week. I do have one question though. Is there any point in doing a PCIII or Thundermax or some sort of controller without doing any of the other stage 1 mods?

Wait till you do the A/F and exhaust then have it tuned

Welcome to bigtwinland! I have to agree with Trotter. If you do anything first I would say new aftermarket mufflers. The stock ones SUCK!

Damn you're strong, I cant even pick up the front of mine! Really though,congrats. It's a great bike. I love mine. I started to install the forward controls on mine but decided to give the highway pegs a try first. That was an excellent decision. I love having the options of foot placement and am starting to learn to brake and shift with my heels. Something to think about.

Thanks for the advice on the controls butI'm really not to hot on the idea of having the controls under me like this. After riding on it for a week I just can't seem to get usedto the feeling. On my sporty all my weight was supported by my butt. On this it feels like most of it is taken by my legs and it just doesn't feel right. Plus being 6'3 doesn't help all that much.
