Upper Shock Spacer/Bung King Shock Sliders

Upper Shock Spacer/Bung King Shock Sliders
Hey All,
Got kind of a weird question but my bike came with the old style QD mounting hardware that had 3 points of contact, one being a bracket that replaces your shock spacer and hangs down behind your shock. PN's 90574-06 & 92139-06. Like the ones in this thread. Gonna be replacing my shocks here right away and want to ditch them but need new shock spacers. From the stealership they are $50 EACH which seems insane. I found that the Bung King upper shock sliders come with replacement shock spacers and I can get them for $5 each. Wanting to see if anyone is running the shock sliders and can confirm that they are the same size as the stock shock spacers and could be run without using the sliders?
Any help would be great.
