Kick stand mount help needed

Does anyone have a service manual that shows how the kickstand/jiffy stand mount is removed along with the stand itself? I can't tell if the mount is broken or if the stand has just messed up somehow. I actually can't even tell how the stand would come out without removing the primary cover. I just need to see a few pic or diagram of what the parts are supposed to look like so I can compare I'll eventually buy a manual but cash is tight right now.

I loked at that and it doesn't help me much. I really need to see what it looks like when assembled and how i go about taking it apart. I can't tell if it's broken or just worn out. This is my first Harley. The stand needs to be replaced no matter what as the previous owner lowered th bike and cut and welded the stand back together to shorten it. I have a new stand but; I can't figure out how this thing is put together. Thanks for the diagram though.

Ok well I doubt anyone is going to be able to assist you any further without knowing what year and model bike we are discussing.

well it looks like you take the cotter pin/clip #1 out, then take the washer #6 off and slide out pin #20 And the jiffy stand assembly should come out and you can do whatever you like to it.
