Does anyone have any experience with the Quick Release Low Profile Detachable Compact Windshield. I want one for my 05 LowRider; I’m planning a long trip and think it should be much more comfortable on the highway. I would appreciate any pros and cons regarding this windshield or others.
I have it on my Street Bob, it is Fantastic, especially for those longer rides. I take it off in 10 seconds, it's strong, the real deal, no cons, good luck

I use the QR Low Profile HD shield on my 2005 Low Rider. It seriously blows debris up through the chin of my Arai full face and dries out my nose, not to mention the constant slapping of the helmet from the turbulant airstream from below. The airstream is so strong, it pushes the zipper of my jacket upward into my neck/chin area around the adams apple. Ouch.
Two weeks ago I made some windshield lowers. First a prototype out of a pair of old license plates, then after proof of concept, I made real ones from a $2.19 sheet of plexiglass from Home Depot. The turbulant airstream from below is now 90% gone and the windshield has become 'useful' instead of 'frustrating'.
I've learned that the height of the windshield is really not important at all. You have to figure out how to deal with the air that comes from beneath the shield.
As Trout said Clay, the windshield generates some serious turbulence. Makes my helmet shake so much it causes my eyeballs to vibrate. Then I can't see because of the blurred/double-vision. IMHO it's more a nuisance than a help. And by the way, the fasteners that clip it to the forks break very easily. They're cheaply made--pot metal I think. Save your money on the compact detachable windshield and look at something else. Possibly non-HD that will do what you want it to. Just my $.02 after my experience with the windshield you are considering.
