Ok here are several pics ( i hope) of my new Kuryakyn gran throwovers. Lots of room with expandable compartments and drinkholders!!! OK maybe not coffee, but certainly a standard soda/water container will fit. Made of that denier material, these are semi rigid and are accented with leather. These come with 8 velcro straps with snap hooks, a cable lock, and bags that fit over these bags for real bad weather. These mount several ways..but with my situation, I have only one option. That is an over the seat throwover. No supports are needed for these and I am pleased with the build and quality. BTW, these are on my 2006 Dyna Streetbob with a Sundowner seat and Detachable mid height sissybar.. other seat/sissy bar combos may make these fit better than my setup. Oh yeah, I HAD to move my turn signals to the fender with the plate. Harley had a kit for $50 that is a combo plate with turn signal mount. Another $30 would have got me a chromed layback plate mount. Should have seen that first!! D'oh !
oh yeah, If you look at the angle of the bag with that of the shock..it is not quite the same. It fits, but it had to be up higher than most other items. Please notice that is does clear the exhaust by several inches and rests above the brake caliper. And on the other side it is higher than the pulley cover.
That's a good looking set of bags. Too bad someone could'nt design a decent bag that fits around the stock signals. No offence but the signal relocation kits do not flatter the lines of the Dyna.
