Sweet. Then I guess I will only have to do this if I want to change out the baffles. (If my neighbors **** me off... )

I put in my quiet baffles in 2 minutes when I bought the slipons new. The original ones came right out. New ones just took a bit of twisting to put them in. But it wasn't a problem. Didn't do it with the exhaust on the bike though.

I have had mine in and out three times with no problems.
I just put them in with a twisting or turning motion going in the
direction of the fiberglass wrap.

Is it difficult to install the quiet bafles in my V/H slipons? Seems to be a very tight fit. Thinking about a 2x4 and tapping the end to get them in. Bad idea? thanks guys (and gals)

Getting them out can be a whole other story.. The glass wrapping can bunch up as your pulling them out.. Use the screw to hold the Bafflein. start it in the nut on the inside welded nut on the inside of the baffle and hook a open end wrench over and tugg.. Sometimes ya get lucky and they come out easy.... If ya wrapped the glass with tape to get them in easyer, It burned off.. Mechanics wire isanother way but as the packing burns up or deteriatessometimesthe wire will rattle and drive you crazy a year or so later trying to figure out what that weird noise is....
