Ricor question
I had the sport tune and they were excellent. I replaced them because I am old and my back is not what it used to be and with two up I would occasionally bottom out and really jam by back.
That said the Ricor Intiminators only provide compression damping. They have zero effect on rebound. With emulators you can adjust rebound with different fork oil weights. With either one you should plan on a bit of tinkering to get them right where you want them. You can take the Ricors apart and change shims to get different levels of damping with them.
If you use Intiminators or emulators you really should get a straight rate spring. This optimizes the valve on either one. Think of it this way, a progressive spring has a curved rate if you plot it out. The valve is not tuned to optimize for this curve. With a straight rate spring the rate is linear and the valve works across a larger part of the rate plot.
