Default What to do with extra cable length

Hi everyone,

I have an 05 Wide Glide and when I bought it, it had 16" ape hangers. I went down to 12" lucky daves T bars (best decision on the hog as of yet).

I have tucked the extra slack in the frame but have lots of extra cable safely zip tied hiding behind the 1/4 fairing. Does anyone have advice on where to put them or how to hide them a bit better without removing the extensions?

Thanks.

Look under the seat. You might be able to pull the harness back through the frame. Pull the rubber plug from the neck area first as it holds the wiring harness. Go slow, pretty tight fit.

Hi Thanks for the response. I did that for the electrical wires. But the issue is the clutch and brake cables. I zip tied them and coiled them behind the fairing but it seems that there's no room to put the cables. I appreciate your help.

Get shorter control cables/lines.

^^^ What Norty said.
Thought you were talking electrical cable harness. I couldn't picture doing that with clutch and brake cables, They should be in a natural curve.

I have 8" risers and 4" bars (12") Street bob cables were bang on for length. And cheap as chips too

I know it’s not what you want to hear, but I would use this an an upgrade opportunity and at least put steel brake cables of the proper length.
