Hi
I have B2262 error code (Front brake switch stuck) issue on my LRS '17 and have no more ideas how to fix it.
That what is done now: - Checked my front break lever. It moves forward all the way. I sprayed piston with WD40, then put some lube on - now it returns better but breaklights are permanently ON - Yesterday I left my LRS at OD shop, they replaced break switch with new one - breaklights are still ON. They pushed breaklever - nothing happens. Pushed breakswitch with finger - nothing happens. - Switched OFF rear brake switch - nothing. - They checked wires - looks OK Now OD said it may be BCM problem.
Any ideas? Thanks
p.s.: please excuse me for my English - it is not my native language
It was a question based on what I randomly found on my bike. Found the pads to be worn along with this error. So just wanted to check if it had any relation before I start to troubleshoot. I'm quite clueless.

Just figured it out. A small piece of double sided tape did the trick! There's a white switch which is released when the brake lever is pressed and that gets the light on. (Not the piston which goes into the master cylinder). It's on the fwd left part where the brake lever meets the handle area. That switch was not getting pressed while the lever was in normal position. So I put a small piece of double sided tape on the lever so that the button will be pressed. Then I cleared the error message and thats it. All fine now.
