took the stock headlite off and put a drag spealties lite on it, the stock one was 5 1/2 inches and the new one is 6 1/4 made a big difference and it looks better to, I had to have the new one powdercoated black, came chrome, didn't like that. just a idea to play with.

Thank you all for the compliments.

I will try adjusting the light before I spend a bunch of money on a new one. I did order a repalcement bulb (PIAA). I've always been impressed with thier bulbs.

The paint job is by a local painter, the HD shop where I bought the bikesends a couple bikes over to him every once in a while. He does really clean work.

3. Handlebars - I like the stock bars, but would like something a little higher, maybe 2 inches or so.

Any recommendations you folks can give will be greatly appreciated!
As for increasing the height a bit, cheapest way is to go is with a 3" (domed), 3.5" (Wild 1 Chubby), or 4" (quite a few to choose from) set of risers (stock are 2"), and likely won't have to change out cables though bending the brake line can be problematic the higher you go, and get polyurethane dampers. Others may disagree and suggest 12"-14" apes, but that can get expensive unless you do the work yourself and can avoid new cables. You can get an extra inch or two out of the stock cables and brake line, anything over 3" higher is pushing it. I just added the old school domed 3" risers this weekend (not in pics yet) with poly bushings and think that'll work well for me. I'm 6' and the bars come almost to my shoulders (with my Mustang solo seat and 11" progressive shocks). Another way to get "higher" is to go lower with a new seat and/or lower shocks.
