I finally convinced the wife that the Bagger just wasn't my style. We bought a 2006 FLHTCI back in late 2005 thinking she would ride with me more often. Well, 2 years later we put all of 4000 miles on the bike, I decided enough was enough, so I rode it down to the local HD shop and traded it in on a 2007 Street Bob. I've only had it a week now and I absolutely love it. I know it's a totally different ride than what I had before, and I am grateful for that! I hated the bagger, just too much damn bike to move around.
Since I bought the "Bob" I've already discovered a few items that must be changed/updated. Any recommendations on the items listed below are greatly appreciated.
1. Headlight - last night was my first night ride - I couldn't see 10 feet in front of me, the stock headlight sucks.I'd like to replace it with a more stylish headlight, something similar to a bullet style, but I'd like to get something that will bolt up to the existing stock mount.
2. Side mount licesnse plate frame/holder - Want to get the plate to the left side of the bike, would like something with a built in light...ideas?
3. Handlebars - I like the stock bars, but would like something a little higher, maybe 2 inches or so.
Any recommendations you folks can give will be greatly appreciated!
