I have Kuryakyn ISO grips right now. They look great and feel good too, with one huge exception. They are 1 5/8" diameter and I have arthritis in my right hand. They put my thumb in a position that is extremely painful after about 10 minutes. I've ridden my wife's Freewheeler with stock grips, about 1 1/2" diameter, and they're a lot better. One of my Triumphs has 1 3/8" grips, but they feel "small" for the Harley, and that bike isn't running, so I don't know how they'd feel after an hour or two.
The problem is, most vendors don't publish the diameter of the grips. Avon makes a grip that comes in "S-M-L" sizes ranging from 1-3/8" to 1-5/8" https://www.denniskirk.com/avon-grip...id=product2_rr but, most of the other candidates don't list the diameter.
So, I'm looking for recommendations with diameter 1-1/2" or less. Thanks in advance!
Oh, any tips on how to remove the left hand grip without ruining it?
I'm happy with my Arless ness grips and they dont have a thick feel at all. Not sure the diameter but I could measure them for you if that style is what youre looking for.
