Default Best wire to tap?
Hey... So I have a bar mounted phone holder/wireless charger... Currently it is ran direct to the battery but I want to just tap a wire that when I start my 16 FXDLS is has power and when I cut it off and walk away the power dies. Any recommendations to where I should tap it in? Thank you!

Get the service manual and tap any wire on the load side of the ignition switch.

I used the tail light on my Dyna's, the tail light is a running light. On when ignition/running and off with power off ignition/running.

Exactly what I did too... Just couldn't think of how to do it at all when I was starting. Thanks for the help yall.

What is this connector for? It was stuffed in the frame from the tank when I pulled the plug. Everything seems to be working right but maybe I'm an idiot.

Pulled it all out and I actually have two seemingly extra connectors?

You have a fuel gauge on that bike? Mine has a similar 2-prong terminal for the fuel gauge.

My fuel gauge is lit but the needle isnt moving currently... Display reads 180mi left but my low fuel light is on ... My abs light just keeps blinking too

SO this branches off my speedo...It is a white/blue wire and a green/black wre...If im reading this right it is for my high beam indicator light but i still cant find anywhere it hooks up to the bike
