Definitely check your B+ and B- connections and the negative post under the seat as suggested. Also check the connections directly at the starter and make sure it's bolted in tight.

Run it in a dark garage......headlight disconnected, seat removed etc........If its arcing off you should see the sparks or arcing !......Of course make DAMN sure the garage door ain't completely closed as not to
get carbon monoxide poisoning or worse !

OK, the prize goes to all of you that mentioned a loose grounding wire. The dealer picked it up Thursday and late Friday they called to profusely apologize that it was a loose grounding wire to the frame. They never tightened it when they disconnected it installing the Fuel Pak.

Thanks, guys. You all pretty much nailed it on the head. I had wanted to pull the seat off when I got stuck, but when the dealer mounted the rack on the rear fender, they replaced the slotted head screw with a torx screw and I didn't have a torx wrench on the road.

Ya gotta love HD forum.

Glad to hear it was nothing serious...too bad you had too be without your ride though. And I'm sure it sucks to see 'er hangin' on the back of a tow truck.
