Jay, they came out very nice. I bought a 2011 Fat Bob and my lower forks were heavily chipped. I am assuming I will have to sand the chips flat to get any smoothness out of new paint job.
YUK. I also want to remove the black paint on the wheels, but thats another project. Maybe winter 2020.

Yeah, been thinking about whether to do a clear coat to add some protection.
Finished off the lowers today and got the wheel back on with new axle covers. I kept obsessing over small defects then realized they would be weathered the first time I rode it so decided to just be happy with it. I got the wheel on and I'm f$cking elated with the end results.
