Motor mount options?
Getting ready to do mounts on my 08 fat bob. Looking to see if anyone could give me so e options for non OEM mounts. I've heard of vibratechnics but that's about it.

Few weeks ago I installed the Drag Specialties mount and I am satisfied with the result. All that deceleration vibe is gone and the bike feels more stable in the corners.

I've been running Drag Specialties F & R motor mounts for around 5 years. They are really much harder then the OEM mounts. Tracks straight and corners great. VERY STABLE CORNERING!

I don't know if I needed to or not, but I didn't align or use any spacers. I have since checked my alignment and it's correct.

Think about your preferences before deciding... Do you value vibration control over fast cornering stability? Will you live with more engine vibration reaching you if the handling is improved? In my experience, the OEM front mount and the new Kinetic Structures wire mesh mount are the best at actual vibration control (if installed and shimmed properly). I was very happy with the Predator as a good compromise between vibration and handling. At the moment, I'm running a KS front mount with an Alloy Art stabilizer, and that's a good compromise as well (in the rear I run a fresh OEM mount with a Sputhe stabilizer). On most bikes, adding a front stabilizer will increase the vibes felt by the rider, at least in certain circumstances. Several people above have suggested Sputhe or TrueTrack. Keep in mind that neither of those are mounts, strictly stabilizers. You'll still need an OEM-style mount with either of those. If you want one piece that controls vibration very well, and you want an improvement in handling stability, I have two suggestions depending on your preferences: If you favor handling over vibe control, Predator. If you favor vibe control over handling, Kinetic Structures. Each of these options controls unwanted swingarm movement better than an OEM mount without a stabilizer. If you don't ride aggressively in corners, and you're not a high speed highway rider, you may be completely happy with a fresh OEM mount without a stabilizer.
Whichever option you end up with, take your time installing it and pay attention to drivetrain alignment.
