I've been reading all the posts about windshields for my 06 Wide Glide so I know it won't quite do everything I wish it would, but I've come to the decision to try one.
My choice will be a Memphis Slim 15" Quick Detachable. But I don't know about color. What about Clear? Gradient black? Gradient Ruby/ (to kinda go with my color? Or solar?
Any suggestions?
I agree with trout 100%. I've had 3 of them,a black gradient Rio Grande on a black bike, a clear Fats and a solar Rio Grande. I'd stay away from the ruby for sure.
Unless you're really short, the 15" slims is going to leave your head out in the wind.
I prefer the clear, that way it just kinda goes away and is not very noticable.
The 17" is just the right height for me. If you order the 17" and find it to tall, you can always cut it down. Its going to be hard to add on to the 15", if you find it to short
