Looking for some info on putting a set of drag bars on my 04' super glide and I would like to keep positioning as close to stock as possible any info is appreciated and would also like to know options for tac and speeddo.

Did the same thing to my '04 FXD. Wild 1'S Chubby bars, 560's. There are pictures of the bars and tach/speedo mount in the pictures section of this board. Let me know if I can be of any help, it's a great upgrade and winter project.

 

Do you think that the bars are as cofortable as stock bars?

I found them much more comfortable than stock. The bars were flatter and placed my hands on a more comfortable angle, a little more turned in, but not too much. The WO560's are a bit more pullback and a lower rise over stock drag bars and 4" or 6" risers. Well worth the time to change them over and the stock cables will work, although the idle and throttle cables are a little long. Changed them to braided cables when I had other work done this summer, originally had only a braided brake line installed, more for looks than anything else.
