Hey, all! I've got an issue with the subject odometer display. The left side of the display looks like the LCDs are bleeding out. I can barely make out a couple of the numbers on the left side. Does anyone know if this is repairable (such as replacing the display chip or freezing/thawing or, I don't know, throwing it against a wall ), or if there is another factory speedometer that can be retrofitted? I REALLY like the looks of the stock speedometer and tach and I didn't want to break up the set. I've been looking online after finding out from my local dealer that the original version is discontinued/unavailable. My search for a suitable replacement hasn't been very successful, but I may not be searching for the right unit. My dealer tells me the model number for mine is 67025-99A. A used unit doesn't make a lot of sense to me because it seems like I'd only be asking for the same type of problem to occur. Of course, I could just say screw it and ride it, but it's an eyesore the way it is (but that's not going to stop me from riding it).
Thanks. It's really not a solar washout issue. Even when the bike is turned off, the display shows chunks. I tried to snap a couple pics in the garage. Let's see if they make any sense.
