anyone know about trading in a dyna?
I am considering tradeing in my 06 super glide, it has 1700 miles and some add ons. i dont expect to be compensated for anything not original. Anyone done this recently or within the last year? I'm lookin at a bagger.
...but to trade a dyna for one you got to kidding. keep your dyna and just go buy a bagger.trust me if you get rid of your dyna you will be kicking your self . for a long time to come.what do dyna owners say? i'm i right or wrong.lets hear it dyna people.
I asked the man what the difference would be if I traded my 2003 Dyna with 235 original miles. He told me the 8k range, said thank you and walked out. I know next to nothing about bikes, butI think I luckedout with the Dyna.
bottom line is if any body is thinking of a new bike . sale it yourself.i know a guy who got a hertage softtail and been thinking of trading. and no dealer is offring crap .it is a 00 but a very clean and low miles.if you want a snow ball chance of even getting close to what you want for your bike . sale it out right.as far as trading for a bagger. what did you lose your mind . i have never seen a dyna that wasn't a good bagger. no affence to the bagger crowed .if you already have a bagger that is cool. but to trade a dyna for one you got to kidding. keep your dyna and just go buy a bagger.trust me if you get rid of your dyna you will be kicking your self . for a long time to come.what do dyna owners say? i'm i right or wrong.lets hear it dyna people.
I tried to trade my '06 FXDI with over $4k in upgrades. Best offer was $8,500.
I think I'll skip the Street Glide until I hit Lotto.
I'm thinking of installing Corbin's Hard bags and have a kinda one of a kind Bagger.
As far as trades, does it work the same way in the states where you folks reside?
Here......sales tax is paid only on the sale price of new ride. minus trade in value.
So, Trading my ride for $8500 here in NYC is like getting $9200. Waiting to sell the bike to get maybe.....another thousand bucks isn't worth it if you spread that amount over the term of the loan.
Just my $.02
