Vibrations after installing front and rear CCE motor mounts
I installed the front and rear Custom Cycle Engineering motor mounts. However now the bike vibrates more as Im giving it throttle and ride it. As well as when I release the throttle. Can anyone chime in and let me know if this is normal? And if I may have missed something when I did the installation? Im running ODC 14.2 inch rear shocks in the back with the ODC inverted front end. I feel a lot of the vibrations in my bars , foot pegs and seat.
I run the full CCE set up, front/rear/top. The vibrations you are experiencing are from the mounts, more specifically the rear. The front does have some rubber but the rear is a fully solid mount. You'll get used to it after awhile. If it's too much try swapping just the rear back to a stock mount. Do go through and double check all bolts and fasteners to make sure you didnt miss one. Also, keep an eye on the front mount as it will loosen with time.

Thanks for the feedback. Ill go through all the bolts again just to make sure. Regarding the front mount. Would you recommend using blue locktite on it?
Last time I needed to replace the motor mounts, I considered the CCE mounts. After further investigation decided it would be like solid mounts. Went back to Drag Specialties hard rubber mounts. Got a little more vibration than the OEM soft crap and still loving it.

I recommend blue loloctite on everything. There isn't a bolt I don't use it on.
In case anyone is looking to get a Drag Specialties rear mount: I put in an order for one a week ago, and I just noticed today that the reason it didn't ship is because they are now out of stock. My dealership can't get any either, told me it says August/September for availability. Luckily for me it was just optional since I have the back end apart already.

Just so I get this right. You are staying that the rear CCE motor mount is what is causing the vibrations? I didnt get the top stabilizer link. If I installed the top stabilizer link would that help with reducing the vibrations? It says that installing this CCE unit or even a Bikers Choice unit would reduce vibrations due to the rubber bushings.

Correct. The CCE mount is a solid metal piece. There is no rubber bushings and zero play. That transfers all of the engine vibration into the frame of the bike. You can try either top link and see how much it reduces the shake. I swapped to all 3 CCE mounts at once so can't say if it helps. I still get more vibrations than stock but it's tolerable.

You think if I installed the top CCE stabilizer mount it would ease some of the vibrations? It wouldnt be like stock but more tollerable?
