Default Shifter is all oily or greasy?

Well I'm new to riding and Harleys so alittle unexperienced looking for help. I just got home from riding and noticed my left boor has grease/wet spots and the shifter is oily around and on it. Bikes a 2015 Wide Glide. Is this normal or whats the cause? Thank you.

Loose oil filter?

Look at your fork to see if its leaking oil. It could blow back onto your boot.

Look at grease in the triple tree, it can melt and get about anywhere.

So I was able to get a better look at it come daylight this morning and noticed its coming from the left shock. It's not horribly bad, just a little bit on my garage floor. I felt underneath the shock and thats where it was leaking/dripping from. Could it be a bad seal? Or anyone have any ideas? I

Sounds inexpensive? Maybe lol. Is this something a Harley Dealer can take care of or am I better off doing it myself cost wise?

If you are comfortable taking apart the front end of your bike and then disassembling your fork you will definitely save decent money doing it yourself.
