Ratbasturd,

Umm, I am not sure that I can agree. When I turn the power on the bike the PCIII lights up for only a second then goes away, now I have not started it yet, this is just power on. I called PC and they told me that the power to the unit is there for only a short bit then off and to be able to adjust it you need the 9v battery connected. Call me crazy, but I just tried to adjust the Low pulse up one level on mine and without the 9v battery connected, it would not do anything. So I tried to change maps and well again same problem. If the bike is not running, then there is no power to the unit. I do not know, this is just how mine works. Yours works differently? Maybe it year specific or maybe model, or mine is just crazy, which would explain a few things, Ha Ha.
Hey, either way, I just hope that everything goes good.

I think you may be right I never even tried to adjust mine on the bike cause it was buried so deep, I did just go look at it and mine does the same thing. That make me glad I took mine out it is cooler in the house, I was drippin sweat just takin it out would have been hotter sittin there next to a runnin motor.

well here we go. I talked to my bike shop today and he said i have the right pc111 . He said he dosnt use the o2 eliminators becouse you dont need to . He said that the eliminator is just if you have bought pipes that dont have sensors.holes. and you need to plug the wire to keep constant currant. the map dowloaded eliminates the o2 sensors even tho they are still hooked up.He gave me the eliminaters, 9 volt hook up, cd , and usb cable. i didnt relize that the shop i go to dosnt gve you all that stufff becouse foras long as i own it they will put any maps in for me for free. So let me all know what you think . thanks all
steve

Wrong, wrong, wrong. this guy hasn't a clue what he's talking about. Find another shop. If you go to the powercommander website and search for shops that are a Power Commander Tuning Center you will usually be in competent hands. An authorizedPower Commander dealer is a shop that has had some classroom training as to how to proerly set up a power commander. The "Tuning Centers" are shops that have a Dynojet 250i dyno and have had extensive training at Dynojets Las Vegas facility utilizing the dyno and power commander.
