pc111 ?
Ratbasturd,
Umm, I am not sure that I can agree. When I turn the power on the bike the PCIII lights up for only a second then goes away, now I have not started it yet, this is just power on. I called PC and they told me that the power to the unit is there for only a short bit then off and to be able to adjust it you need the 9v battery connected. Call me crazy, but I just tried to adjust the Low pulse up one level on mine and without the 9v battery connected, it would not do anything. So I tried to change maps and well again same problem. If the bike is not running, then there is no power to the unit. I do not know, this is just how mine works. Yours works differently? Maybe it year specific or maybe model, or mine is just crazy, which would explain a few things, Ha Ha.
Hey, either way, I just hope that everything goes good.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. this guy hasn't a clue what he's talking about. Find another shop. If you go to the powercommander website and search for shops that are a Power Commander Tuning Center you will usually be in competent hands. An authorizedPower Commander dealer is a shop that has had some classroom training as to how to proerly set up a power commander. The "Tuning Centers" are shops that have a Dynojet 250i dyno and have had extensive training at Dynojets Las Vegas facility utilizing the dyno and power commander.
