And a little good news. Jamie@FuelMoto found me a set of heat shields, stainless unfortunately, but at least they’re heat shields. I’ve got a 4oz sample size bottle of Cerakote high temp glacier black which I’ll get sprayed on and be done with dealing with the double talk nonsense from that poorly run company.
Heat shields are out for delivery. I honestly can’t believe this day has come. I’m very happy not to have to toss the $1100 exhaust because the bumbling idiots who run that company can’t get their acts together and deliver product.
Now I have to find a good shop who can apply cerakote. I’m going to try my local body shop who did a fantastic job matching the zephyr blue on my Road Glide to paint over the midnight blue I previously had an Amazon China special tour pack.
I have a 4oz bottle of C series cerakote I think will be plenty...
Here are the heat shields. At least FedEx didn’t wait until the last possible moment to deliver (8:59pm), as is their usual MO around here. I am surprised and pleased (For a change) to see they are full length. I thought only partial coverage. So that’s good at least. Hopefully Cerakote tomorrow and on by Tuesday...
Nicely formed stainless, shittiest clamps imaginable. This company amazes me. Aside from their complete lack of customer service, to include such cheap crap clamps when the product is really high quality is so damn stupid. Never ceases to amaze me. At least I’m done dealing with them forever now...
