We don’t have that in the US. Our is called “sales tax” and it varies from state to state. In NY, it’s 8.75% here in Florida it’s 6%. And yes, on top of the retail price. However, many resellers don’t collect it when sending out of state. Technically the buyer is responsible to pay it to their state of residence.
And EU sellers don’t charge VAT on sales to US addresses.

That explain things. You guys are so lucky.

So Jamie said Red Thunder hasn’t responded to him in a week. Seems they’re back up to their old unresponsiveness tricks.
Making me second guess the purchase. Will talk to Jamie on Monday and if he haven’t heard from them (Europe isn’t closed on Thursday and Friday like we are) I may cancel it and just get a Fat Cat from Jamie instead.

Damn, not good to hear. That and the way you had to order them is what held me back when I first heard of this exhaust. They need to get their crap together as I think Fuel Moto could move a lot of product. Give it a few days and if nothing, can’t go wrong with the Fatcat.

Lol, I don’t know where the problem was , but I had to wait almost 6 months for a cable to my bike (Coming from Harley US made )

Just heard from Jamie. He said he had a productive call with RT on Friday and has an order coming in, one of which will be mine, along with heat shields. He doesn’t know how long it will take but will let me know, and I will do the same here.
