A buddy at work got some slip-ons from the dealer when he got his 2005 FXD. He later pulled them for some V&H pipes. Based on that, I'm thinking they may be SE II rather than the new Screaming Eagle slip-ons. He's wanting to give me a pretty sweet deal on 'em.
Questions:
- Any idea if these will fit my 2007 FXDC?
- Would this pooch my warranty?
I found some NOS (new old stock) SEII's and put them on my 2007 FXDC. They look good and sound great. I will be doing the aircleaner and EFI tuner in the future.
Q; I am torn between going with the SEII slips or the Big Radius...obviously a huge money difference. My question is about the sound. My only goal is to get a lot louder than the stocks that came with. Give me the bottom line are slip ons going to give me a comparable sound to the full V&H pipes?
If your goal is a good sound, look into the reinhart Slip on's. or the full set.. Not much compares.. I've had at least 6 diffrent pipes on my two diffrent 06's and they both will wind up with Reinharts... after alot of money spent...
And Thanx for you service .

That's kind of where I'm headed too.
Question, are the SEIIs obnoxiously loud or just good sounding loud? I wan't what little performance boost I can get from slipons and a good Harley rumble, but I'm not real into the drag pipe volume levels.
My previous bike was a Sportster with Cycle Shack slip-ons. As I got older, I thought the 'Shacks were a little too loud. For me, the SEII's are just about right. My FXDC sounds like a Harley, but I don't need ear plugs.
I have SE II and my freind has V&H pipes it is not a lot of differents in the two sounds. But he his an 06 lowrider and I have an 07 lowrider. The only problem is the bolt on the bottom of the pipe will hit in the sharp turns.
