05 Dyna Super Glide oil leak
Hi
While reinstalling my exhaust I dropped an exhaust nut and didn't see where it went, but I have a feeling it dropped into the hole on the left side on the primary where you can see the belt.
Since then I've got a slow oil leak on the left side from the primary drain plug, or around that area, but collecting near the plug on the case.
First question, can that nut get anywhere that'd do serious damage?
Second question, where should I check for the leak? I've wiped it down, ridden, checked and it's hard to see where it's coming from but it's definitely not coming from above and dripping down. Could the exhaust nut have damaged something and caused the leak?
If anyone has a workshop repair manual please let me know!
