I put the V&H Straight shot slips on my 07 SuperGlide Custom and the only thing that ive noticed is a very slight popping on deceleration!! They sound good and look good for the money. Very easy install also only took about 45 min to an hour to do.

mascman is the man!
received the slip ons yesterday.
First of all they are in most excellant shape. the crome is so nice that i set aside the rattle can....for now.
second, holy @#$% they sound great. now the bob sounds like it was ment to be.
had to go to a wedding so i was going to wait untill today to install them.
needless to say we were late for the wedding, ha ha. (i have a cool and understanding wife)
still working on the fit though, the back pipe does not seem to go all the way in. i used wd-40 etc but it needs something. the bottom pipe seems to slant down. i'll figure it out ......with the forums help of course
any way, macsman rules, he helped me out tremendously. thanks.
anyone who can advise me on the pipe install (the right way) i would appreciate it.
i'll see if i can upload a pic
I'm glad you like them! Didn't I tell you they sound nice?

Did you have to drill new holes in the bracket that runs from muffler to muffler? Would that help it slide down more?

I couldn't remember if we did that or not.

Also, would a spacer between thebottom muffler and mounting bracket help to bring it out...I'm thinking we did something like that, but it's been a while.

I wish I would have removed them instead of my brother, then I would know for sure. I've had several sets on and can't remeber which ones got what.

Keep working on it...I know we had them even.

I put V&H slip ons on my 1992. It had stockers with no baffles for years and sounded great but it was time for a change. The V&H sound great and look good too. I highly recommend them. You should be able to find them for about $200 on eBay.
