Default Powder Coating cast wheels?

I saw another post regarding gloss or wrinkle powder coating. I did not want to thread crap that post...so here goes.
I'd also like to get my 2017 FXDL cast wheels powder coated. I have no idea whatsoever about how much this could cost. I'm in North Florida - does anybody have a recommendation who or where to get this done.
Anybody here ever had this done? Or have any possible advise?
Thanks in advance.

I spent $600 on powdercoating, with the caveat that it was more than just wheels. I had the mags, clutch/brake levers, lifters, rocker boxes, triple trees, lower legs, headlight trim ring, and rear fender strut covers all done at the same time. Mine were done in a gloss black finish. My cautionary advice is make damn sure they know what can and can't be coated. As an example, they powdercoated the portion of the legs that the dust cover has to clamp down to, and they had a blob of powdercoat in one of the bearing pockets on the mag wheels. It is not fun trying to remove industrial powdercoating.

When you say north Florida, are you talking Duval County area? Powdercoat Plus does a great job in Port Orange

We have a biker owned Powder Coating here in Edgewater. Done a lot of work for me and he knows what he's doing.

I would expect $100-150 a wheel depending on what prep is done and color choice. Although small, wheels are not the easiest to do correctly, lots of nooks and crannys

I'm in Pennsylvania and just paid $300 for a chemical dip, sandblast and powdercoat on my alloy mags. Downside? I have to polish the rim and spoke faces myself (they would have done it, but the labor was too much for me to bear) and they declined to to a clear finish after that due to liability if the finish is poor due to contaminants from my polishing process. I may just leave it alone.

So this post intrigues me a bit. Powder coating the entire mag seems easy enough but if I wanted polished rim lips and the edges/faces of the spokes, would I have to have them stripped and blasted first, then sand and polish, hot tanked to remove contaminants (non-caustic hot soap and water) and then PC the rest? I am a bit unclear of the process. I would like them totally cleared afterwards too to help protect my polishing.

I think that sums up the process as I understand it.

I'm in St. Augustine, FL - I should have said north east Florida. I'm having some work done at Monster Motorcycle in Palm Coast next month...I'll be discussing the powder coating with them.
