I ride a Heritage. My wife rides a Dyna Lowrider. Whenever I take her bike out I am reminded how agile and fast it is. But after a few miles I get it out of my system and go back to comfy Softail. I'm 68 and I can tell what's best for me.

Thanks…good eye there! It’s got a Sputhe swingarm and engine mounts. Motor was out for upgrades, wasn’t much more to paint the frame & swingarm. The wheels are aluminum Excell rims…rear is a 4.50” X 18. Composite rotors, too. Very observant

hd4evr2008, the guy who started that other thread is still active here. Maybe he'll stop by this thread and tell us how it's worked out.
Worked out great! Guess I'm just a dyna guy at heart! Haven't taken any L-O-N-G trips on my bike, but I'm past that anyway at 70. Day trips and over nighters are fine though. I definitely am more comfortable with the dyna over the Street Glide, believe it or not. One reason I went back to a Super Glide is because with forward controls, the Super Glide is more comfortable for me than any bagger I've ever owned.

" Check out out the old dude on the Dyna, he's got some stuff on that bike" ; overheard last time I rode the Dyna to Tortilla Flats ( yo, the Dyna ain't just for kids)

Your gonna love Forwards on that.. When I first got my 2013 the seat sucked and the forwards were just a little to far forward for me and I really didn't like the spread of the "10 handle bars.. I'm 5'7".. At 100+ mph my feet were lifting off the pegs and it felt like it was difficult handling the bike because of.. So I installed a Used Mustang one piece 2 up seat in excellent condition (got it from "Fallen Cycles for $250) and also a 1" relocation kit for the forward controls (decreased the distance). I also turned the handle bars into 10" Buckhorns with some torches and had them powder coated.. I was surprised when bending the bars that they were made out of stainless steel and not regular carbon steel.. With the three modifications I must say it made all the difference in controlling the bike..

Also If your interested, I did a license plate relocation that literally only cost $50.. Its in the Sticky above *How To* under bux*....
