You long reach metric to remove those bolts. Showa has been on the front of HD for a long time. Standard will feel right until you strip the head of the bolt then need to take it to a machine shop to get it out. Maybe you get lucky and break off an easy out in the bolt first!?!??!

I have a cheap set I bought from a chain auto parts store, has taken dozens of Showa front ends apart. Good luck.

Couldn't find a long 12mm socket bit anywhere locally so I ended up ordering from Amazon, should be here tomorrow.

Tech Tip:
If you need an Allen wrench for the bigger bolts. Like your 12mm. Use a bolt that has a 12 mm head on it. Double nut the bolt, stick the 12mm head of the bolt in the bolt you're removing and use the double nutted nuts to turn it out.

I just bought a standard 12mm L-shaped allen and cut the longer straight section off, then used a 12mm socket with that. Works perfect.

Jap forks. Metric. Always test fit on anything you work on. Confusing as hell.
