Default After market grips good?

Newbie question for my wife. She has a new Dyna coming Monday and was looking to install some hand grips aftermarket. Any known issues with doing that? Non Harley branded if it matters.

This is her first bike so this is all new to her.

Thanks

Avons are good. H-D's Get A Grip are REAL good.
I won't buy another set from Kuryakyn. The area that the cable runs in crumbled.

I bought a set on eBay and haven’t had any problems.

Another vote for Avon. Have had them on any bike I have owned including the current 2 bikes.

I’ve got Roland sands grips on my bike and love them. I really like them because they’re ever so slightly slimmer than the OEM grips so they’re really easy to grab. Along with a little easier to reach levers. I believe performance machine makes them for RSD, so they also have a similar grip. And use a Renthal rubber grip on them.

I’ve used Lowbrow customs AMF grips which are pretty thick and comfortable. The Vans/Cult grips made by ODI are awesome too, a bit of a thicker feeling grip that’s maybe a bit softer. I’m running the ODI Hart Luck grips now which I really like. They’re a thinner grip but are pretty darn comfortable. Best part is they’re all made by ODI in the USA! 👍
