Okay, I saw this thread earlier, but I just re-read all five pages (I don't want to work today) and I see a couple of negative comments about the angled extensions, which is not what I am talking about and one lone comment about a failure on an angled stem that the guy admitted were cheap crap. Every other post was either glowing praise or "damn, I need one". The consensus seemed to be that the Bridgeport 83° stems from KurveyGirl were the best option. Am I missing something?
Just so I can answer this thread in case someone else looks one day, I ended up ordering from kurveygirl.com. I called them because I could not find any information on the size I need for my FXDL rims. They were super nice and informative. For reference, my cast, 5 spokes are an 8.3mm stem. I ordered these beauties 83deg Aluminum 8.3mm Racing Angled Valve Stems - Black (2 pcs) - Gen2 – KurveyGirl

I thought I'd post pics since I finally got the KurveyGirl stems installed on the new rims. They are VERY well made, installed solid as a rock and as you can see, there is no way that they are going to "fail" or cause interference. They are solid aluminum bottom to top and are going to make pressure checks a lot easier.
Hey snake eyes I just bought a set of Bridgeport valve stems for my low rider wheels. My wheels only have a spot face on the inside of the wheel not on the outside. It looks like the valve stem only has a rubber gasket where it touches the outer part of the wheel. Any verification on this ? Or is there a inner and outer gasket with the valve stems.

The KurveyGirl stems only had O-rings on the outside also. IIRC the nut had a flared base that flattened against the inside of the rim and they recommended blue Loctite.
Edit: Yes, that's right. here's the diagram from their website

Man I don't know what I was looking at earlier. My wheels do have a little boss on the outside for the valve stem. It's just not machined. Hopefully it still seals. Thank you for the reply.

Yeah, that's the same rim I am running. My are just powdered black.
