Will do!

The cable did not want to go into the hole. The cable end rarely wants to go in that hole, but once I ran a proper tap through the hole it went on like a charm.

It's your bike, your build.
They had 1/4 of the power of modern machines too.

I got all I can do for the clutch cable install until the new clutch release cover gasket arrives. I will say this - the fat bob clutch cable does appear to be the spot on perfect length/fit.

Messing with the fall away test. The disc side just falls away immediately. The other side falls away at about 5 inches.

I'll tighten.

Steering is nicely snugged, back to waiting on parts.

Edit: waiting on parts sucks!

This is what is left to do:

~wire the handlebar switch wiring to the bike. I'm currently waiting on the H-D prewired handlebar switch and cover set.

~install a front brake line, prepare & set up the front brake.

~install new throttle and idle cable, adjust throttle

~ install the LED mini front turn signals

- set up new speedometer

~new HD grips and bar end mirror set.

~ finish clutch cable install - install new clutch release cover gasket, install cover, and fill transmission, adjust clutch free play

~ some other minor things not worth mentioning

Sounds like its winding down and the build is almost finished.

You should start looking for the next project to get started on.

What size are your wheels? Looks like a 21 up front but can't tell on the rear. Is it an 18?
I really like the look of the first drag bars, but good call with the Fat Bob setup. It will be much more comfortable and still look cool. I can't believe it never occurred to me to strip the black off the stock risers. Great idea!
