Default Installed Sundowner

I just installed my new sundowner solo seat (have not put on passenger yet). WOW what a diference that thing makes! One thing that kinda irked my was that I asked 3 parts guys including the manager if I needed the extra nut thingy....they all three said yep! OK, I buy it because they are closing and I want it done tonight...I get home and low and behold the factory sent me one!! Glad it was only $2.00 so anyways what I found that was really cool was that in the box for the solo along with the seat and the nut thingy was directions of course and in the directions it shows the zip tie trick! OK now I'm thinking HD finally got their heads out of each others butts right.....and what do the go and do? They actually included the zip tie!!!!!!!! LOL you guys thought I was gonna rag on them didnt ya! I gotta say I am very pleased and even if I did pay an extra $2.00 at least I didnt have to go back to get a part....Gotta say that the guys at my local dealer are some of the best I have ever dealt with.

No idea what the zip tie thing is...but I have a sundowner as well...and I am equally impressed, other than being inched forward a bit. Enjoy

the zip tie thingy....well you simply slide a zip tie into the nut hole and then pull the zip tie through the hole in the finder to pull the nut in place, add the little plastic "c" holder and push the zip tie back out...makes installing the nut in the fender a 5 second job and even kept my hands clean

The zip tie is used when you move the atachment assembly from the Solo hole to the two up hole. It holds the lower portion in place while you install the clip.
