Help another efi engine wont turn over
My little pea sized brain is strained. I read through other engine wont turn over threads but didnt get anywhere.
If any of you have a suggestion please lmk, thanks
rebuilt 2009 harley fxdl went from 96" engine to 110", ss 585 ez start cams, ss quickee pushrods ported and polished heads, new/used 50mm throttle body, it trys to start but it just stops and wont turn over. I've checked for spark, ive pulled plugs and started there is compression, i took the push rods out, and the lifters and rotated engine to just past the ez start cr, got a new battery with 320 cca, tried jumping it from my truck, help
The infamous "turn over" phrase that means all things to all people. He said "it just stops after one rotation or so and stops." so I guess that means the starter motor can move the crank but that "turn over" in this case means that the engine won't fire and start? OP, good luck with it and hopefully someone smarter than me will come along with answers.

With 110 cylinder did the OP use head gaskets set up for a 4 inch bore.
Could the ground cable going to the engine case be loose..
If new lifters were used, a common mistake is to adjust the pushrods to deep and may have a valve hitting the piston..
If you pull the plugs does it spin over freely?
Have you measured the voltage at the starter motor when cranking?
