Cant go into diagnostic mode and yellow engine light
cant go into diagnostic mode.....I hold down the trip button and turn the engine **** on the gas tank on and it does not work for some reason
why is there suddenly an engine light yellow visible in the speedometer?
What year is your bike? Does it have the button on the back of the speedo or a trip switch on the left hand controls?
1- Turn Ignition switch to OFF & Run/Stop switch is to Run.
2- Push odometer reset button in & hold. For 2014 & newer touring models this will be the toggle switch on the left control mount.
3- Turn ignition switch to Ignition and release the odometer reset button. Background lighting should illuminate, speedometer needle should sweep its full range and indicator lamps (battery, security, low fuel, check engine and cruise) should illuminate. The word "diag" should then appear.
ok I figured it out
i changed the apebar risers today and now the ***** on the left handlebar side are dead....
so that is why I could not to into diag mode
I checked all the cables and there is nothing visible.....the handlebar ***** on the right side work on the left they are dead including left blinker button, trip button etc...
what to do?
Left hand controls as in the handlebar left hand controls. Yes that is what I was referring to.
With the bike off does the speedo display the miles if you press the button?
If you have a run switch that needs to be set to run before anything else. Press and hold the button on the left side handle bar and turn on the ignition.
again I ****ed up controls on the left handlebar....i was changing the risers today for the apebar....but I did not cut any wires....the right controls on the right handlebar work just fine....
what to do?
now I guess the engine light is on for some reason
