LASERs? Just get a couple of straight boards and duplicate the setup in the picture above. I've heard of folks using two 8 foot florescent tubes. Very straight, but a little on the fragile side for my tastes.

Technically, if your frame isn't bent, and your mounts are good and your swingarm to axle measurements are good, and you level the frame correctly, and the top link is set right, then the wheels will be centered between the boards..

Replaced both front and rear mounts. Aligned according to book and videos, and got a perfect 0*/90*/0* match. I can let go of the front and bike just goes straight as arrow. My assumption was rear mount was not working as it should. Everything, including axle distance, is now spot on. I have a leftover kinetic front mount, only installed and about 5-10 miles on it if anyone is interested. Pretty much brand new.

I don't understand why (in the video) first doing 90*/0* rear set, then adjusting the link again, as he does in the video to "set the laser alignment.. Why bother setting up the 'tilt' of the rear, just to keep moving it after you get it 90*/0* ?
The reason you can’t grasp that is because he’s not adjusting it AGAIN…. You see he isn’t working on a DYNA, he’s working on a bagger. The center link does the same on both models, but the baggers have another adjustable link on their front motor mount, which he is adjusting in that latter part of the video to align the lasers.
