Windshield Reflection - Street Bob
Morning All,
Wife has the 07 Street Bob and just got the HD Shorty Windshield to keep the bugs off her teeth.
While cruising home the other night, the Boss quipped at the amount of reflection coming off the windshield originatingfrom thefront turn signals and dashlight. Kinda did look like the heads up display off of a F15 Strike Eagle.
What have you folks down to cut down on the glare?

I presume when you say "at night" you mean during darkness. I never ride at night (after dark) anymore so haven't noticed that phenomena. I have the SB with the Compact Low Profile lightly smoked on mine and no probs during daylight hours.

You'll either need a trim ring on the headlight, or different headlight. You can also relocate the turn signals. I dont do enuf night riding to change mine. Too many deer around here.

I put the wider chrome trim ring on my headlight and then I darkened the edge of the lower half of the windshield edge with a black sharpie marker. This helped prevent light from coming in on the edge and conducting through (like fiber optics). These two stepsdidn't get rid of all the light glare and reflections but it cut it down significantly.
