Just wondering if anyone has one of these kits. This would be for a 2000 FXD (Jims #1746). I can't find any retailers with stock so I was considering having a local machine shop make something up. If you have one of these I'm curious about certain dimensions.
Thanks for the link! I see that TCBros makes something similar. The thing I don't like about the stock, flat washer under the castle nut is how concave it ends up. As that washer flexes and changes shape the axle nut torque loosens.

I am a machine shop in the Atlanta Ga area. Shop rate is $125 an hour. $100.00 hr minimum. Just saying this is a typical metro area rate.
Check with your local and post back.

IMHO, in my years of working on my sleds, if you're warping that washer, you're torquing it more than it's supposed to be. Besides, even if you're not, you can head to Lowes and get a thicker washer for a couple bucks and it'll work perfectly. I just hate to see you blowing your scratch on something that's way too costly when there's something that's far cheaper that'll work just as well.
