I just recently purchased a 2012 Dyna fat Bob and I want to switch it from the forward controls to the mid controls because I’m very small and the controls are too far away for me to handle the bike. Is there anybody out there that has any parts that may be they want to go to forward controls and they have controls in their bike and they want to switch or if someone is selling mid controls, can you please get in touch with me
Sorry I can't help you with the parts you need. I've done most all of the modifications on my Dynas with used parts that I got here, on ebay, or at swap meets. Sometimes you have to have patience until whatever you're looking for comes along. You can do a saved search on ebay, and you'll be notified if someone puts the part up for sale.
I bought a 2009 a couple years back with the same issue. I found the parts needed at a custom shop used and got him to do the install. He was glad to be rid of the parts as most guys go the other way and gave me a great deal. You might try calling all your local indies.
You're gonna need more than just the foot controls. At least the outer primary and possibly the inner primary, I can't remember. Do a search here and you will find many posts that will give you the details.
Do you have the chrome primary cover or is it black? I have an 08 Super Glide with mids in chrome. The primary covers should interchange. But I would need a chrome one. If you do have a chrome cover, I'll swap parts with you.
