The muffler has been drilled out, as I did to mine, and the inner baffle pipe has been removed. There is no additional baffling available in this situation for these mufflers. If you want it quieter you will have to by new mufflers. I am sure somebody out there has some OEM mufflers for your Wide Glide that they would be glad to get rid of.

The stock pipes have plug in them, a lot of owners would knock out that plug. The sound was a bit obnoxious, but the owners seemed to like it. Using a broom handle and see if it goes all the way to the headers, if so, the plug is gone. A flashlight might be of use. If you can find them, unmolested mufflers might be found and be quieter.
