Hey first Rubber Mounted bike.. trying to determine if my front isolator is no good.. if you look at the 2 pics you'll see I marked them up indicating gap (my OEM) and no gap (after market) . I can't find a pic of a new OEM front isolator and am wondering/questioning is that gap normal and will a new OEM still have it? I ask because all after market idolators the rubber mount sits squarely on the lower bracket. So is that how a new OEM will be (no gap like the after markets ones) or will it come with a gap? Thanks..
Honestly don't know, long as they fit properly without big changes in the alignment needing more than normal attention, I never gave it a thought past they had to be different in some way for legal issues or something. Couple got sent back over being off enough, I wasn't comfortable using. Owners weren't happy.
