Looks fine to me, but If it keeps you from a good night's sleep, use a wood clamp at bolt area. One at a time. Just a snug with a cushion against the case.

Got the frame and inner/outer covers back today. Everything else should fit in my little oven and I’ll do it here.

now I can finally start getting some rebuild progress.

Spent yesterday sorting/organizing parts, cleaning my workspace up a little, and finally breaking out the Eastwood Powder Coat kit I bought. Did a few samples to familiarize myself with it. For what I am going to do, it is fine. It is a little messier than what they claim, so will probably be taking it to work, and set it up in a corner.

Today I did all the washers for the ARP hardware I bought. What a pain, but once I figured out a system it went pretty well. What doesn’t fit in this little oven (15”x11”x10”) I’ll have down elsewhere, but im
trying to do everything myself.

About 1/2 of them all done.

Are you powdercoating the washers you're going to use under the arp hardware? Isn't that going to cause the same problem as when you powdercoat the rear hub then install the rear drive pulley on top of the powdercoat?

that wasn’t me…not sure what you are talking about out. And you should never powder coat or have finishes on mating parts. Why I spent so much time masking off areas on the cases and heads and jugs, and the other pieces I powder coated. A machined surface should always remain so.

But yes, the washers are for under the ARP hardware. I added the washer thickness to the bolt size for bolts that didn’t call out a washer.
