Hey all so I bought a set of forks off a low rider for my project bike swapping from 39mm to 49mm. Now there missing some parts and I'm on a budget need fork spring and spacers + top cap. Now can i use any fork springs as long as they match? And I need to go up 2in in ride height does any one sell 2in riser caps that aren't $100 + or does it make more sense to get 2in extended fork dampers off lowbrow?
1994 xlh sportster yes I know it a weird choice and I know that the whole front end need to change as well. Well on my way to that Just need to know if any 49mm fork spring off any 49mm dyna fork will fit in my forks. And can I change out the fork damper with a + 2in damper to get the 2in of ride height i need with out going out and doing tubes.

Yes, you can run a +2 damper with stock length tubes, and it will and you will gain height. I don't know if FXDWG springs are the same length as all other Dyna's, but between a FXDL, FXDB, FDC, etc. the 49mm springs should be the same. Once you start getting into trees for your Sporty I don't know the answer and you'd be better asking in the Sportster specific forum, I'd bet you'd find someone there that's already done it.
Good luck.
