2009 fatbob clunking noise/feeling
Every since INDOT did some construction on the road i took to work and eventually ground the road down without any warning to anybody, I now getting a clunk noise when I go over bumps and potholes after hitting that transition from ground pavement back to normal pavement.
Originally i was suspecting the jarring uneven pavement finally did my(presumably original) engine mounts in, my coworker thinks my suspensions needs rebuilt/replaced.
thoughts? Anything to look into?

The most likely suspects would be the engine mounts and gas tank. Inspect the mounts, they've probably on there for a long time. Put a socket on the tank bolts and make sure they're tight.

Sounds like it coming from somewhere under the gas tank or the forks, not 100% sure...I'll have to try and pay better attention tomorrow

I didnt have much time this morning but j tightened the forward gas tank bolt, so far, I haven't heard any clunking....yet...
Definitely still want to change the motor mounts at some point.... kenetic in the back, maybe oem in the front?
