FWIW....

I'd use metal spring-style, quick connect hose clamps in that application way before I would use a zip tie.

I'd use spring clamps for ease of use for disassembly/reassembly, and heat resistance.

On my external breather systems, I use oetiker clamps, but that is probably overkill...
